Koderma: Eight persons lost their lives when a boat capsized in the Koderma district of Jharkhand. Those who died were members of the same family. There were nine people from the house. These people had come to the Panchkhero dam to visit. Then due to the strong wind and the movement in the water of the dam, the boat overturned and there was a major accident. One of the members swam out and informed the people. The case pertains to the Markacho police station area.

According to reports, the family, a resident of Kheter village under Rajdhanwar police station area of Giridih district, had come for a walk at Panchkhero dam. There were 9 members from the house. All the people were riding on a boat and were boating when due to strong wind and strong movement in the water of the dam, the boat overturned and on seeing it, all the people drowned in the water. However, due to this, the sailor came out and fled. While Pradeep Kumar, a member of this family, swam out and informed the people about the matter. At present, Pradeep Kumar is crying badly.  

Pradeep Singh's 17-year-old son Shivam Singh and 14-year-old Palak Kumari, 40-year-old Sitaram Yadav and his three children, 16-year-old Shejal Kumari, 8-year-old Harshal Kumar, 5-year-old Bauva, 16-year-old Rahul Kumar, 14-year-old Amit Kumar died in the accident. They are residents of Kheto in the Rajdhanwar police station area. Pradeep said that as soon as the boat reached the middle of the dam, it started sinking. Because of this, only he could swim out. The rest drowned. At the local level, the search is on for the persons who drowned in the Panchkhero dam. The NDRF team has been informed. After the arrival of the NDRF team, a rescue operation will be launched in search of the persons who drowned in the dam.
