Patna: A bolero full of baratis overturned in a Chanwar pit in Baniapur police station area of Chhapra district of Bihar on Sunday night. Four baratis lost their lives on the spot in the incident. Police rushed to the spot and investigated the case and rushed to rescue the injured. The dead bodies were fished out with the help of locals.

Among the deceased youths, Ankit Kumar and Rajkumar Baba, son of Dev Narayan Singh, a resident of Sehoria village in Baniapur police station area, also lost their lives. Two boys who lost their lives in the accident are yet to be identified. Dhumal Kumar of Sehoria village was also injured in the incident. He has been admitted to Baniapur Health Centre for treatment.

People present at the spot said Dhumal may have jumped from the spot when the Bolero overturned in the pit, injuring him while others drowned in the water.  Where it was learnt that Barat was on its way from Bolero to Barat Ekma from Bhumihara village in Baniapur police station area. A total of 5 people including the driver of Siuria village were sitting on bolero. The vehicle suddenly overturned in the pit of Chanwar at a canal bank bend near Karhi village. Locals rushed to the spot as soon as they got the information.
