Kabul: There have been reports of bomb blasts in different parts of the country on Tuesday before the Lok Sabha elections in Afghanistan. The bomb also exploded near the American embassy in the capital, Kabul. At the same time, news of the bombing of President Ashraf Ghani's election rally in the northern state of Parwan has also been reported.
News of 8 people killed in this attack is coming out, while 10 people are said to be badly injured. It is being told that the bomb was thrown as a target to a police vehicle. A large number of people were present to participate in the rally near this vehicle. The spokesperson of the presidential campaign, Hamid Aziz, has given information that President Ghani was also present at the place during the blast, but they are completely safe.
Giving information, Parwana State Spokesperson Vahida Shahkar said that the blast took place at the exact place where the rally was going on. The blast took place at the entrance of the rally venue. At present, no terrorist organization has taken any responsibility for this blast. Elections for the post of President are due in Afghanistan later this month.
