Another major incident at TMC-led Bengal, bomb blast in school

Kolkata: West Bengal seems to be sitting on a pile of gunpowder under CM Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress (TMC), bombing has become a norm in the state. Now a bomb has exploded during class in a school in Titagarh in the North 24 Parganas district of the state. This has created panic all over the school. The incident took place at Free India High School located at South Station at around 11 am on Saturday (September 17, 2022).  

At the time of the explosion in the school, the second period was going on in the school. In this blast, a part of the roof of the school was blown away and there was a stampede in the school. As soon as the blast took place, the school teachers ran toward the roof. He saw pieces of bombs spread all around. Students and parents are in a panic after the incident. However, despite the school being located in a densely populated area, fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

Khalid Tayyab, a teacher at the school, has said, 'The explosion was very strong. We were sitting in the staff room at the time. At first, we thought a bomb had been hit outside. After this, he came out and saw smoke coming out of the school. After that, we came to the roof and saw that there were bomb splashes all around. If there had been a blast during the lunch break, could have been a major accident.' There are 1,300 children studying in this school, but so far it is not known whether the bomb was placed in the school or someone threw it from outside.
