Kannur- Kerala: On Thursday night in Chavassery, Kannur, a bomb reportedly was exploded in front of a worker's home for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

The home of Sudheesh, an RSS employee, was only 50 metres distant from the explosion, Mattannur Police said. Under the explosive act, the police reported the incident. The forensic team gathered information at the scene. The dog squad went to the location as well.

Further, the district police chief visited there. According to the police, Sudheesh was implicated in numerous cases. More research is being done.

Notably, after a bomb explosion last month, a fight between RSS and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) members broke out in the area. During the conflict, a number of homes and properties were injured.

The incident happened in front of RSS employee Sudheesh's home at Mannora, Chavassery. After a bomb blast two weeks ago, the region had seen a fight between RSS and Social Democratic Party of India members. Houses and other assets were damaged in the conflict.

On Friday at Kannavam, a bomb went off close to the home of Salahudheen, a former SDPI employee. Police have filed a report and are looking into it.

In this case, Sudheesh is a suspect. People said that shortly after the explosion they observed someone sprinting away.

A case has been given to the Mattanur police. On Friday, Kuthuparamba ACP Pradeepan Kannipoyil and District Police Chief R. Ilango examined the area. A dog squad and a forensic team also arrived at the scene. In the area, the police have tightened security measures.
