Bangalore: Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai responded to an audio provided by Congress MLA Priyank Kharge by saying that everything relating to the Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) recruitment fraud will be thoroughly probed, and required action will be taken against anyone found guilty.
"Everything linked to the Police Sub-Inspector scam that has been received will be investigated." "I haven't listened to the recording yet, but it will be looked into," Bommai told the press from his home. He said, the recording is a dialogue between two people, and their identity and trustworthiness, as well as those participating in the scam, will be probed. "Whoever the perpetrators are, action will be taken against them, regardless of which batch they belong to," he added.
Bommai had already announced on Thursday that two people, Rudra Gowda and Ayyali Desai, had been arrested in connection with anomalies in the employment of PSIs in the state. Both of the people apprehended are gunmen for Afzalpur MLA MY Patil. More information about the situation is awaited.
