After watching the movie, father Boney Kapoor is very happy with her daughter's work. He said, 'This horror-comedy film is really scary and the movie also has many laughable moments.'

In discussion with the media, father and the producer also expressed his wish to portray Janhvi Kapoor's father's role on screen. He said, "Rather than see someone else play Janhvi's father I'd like to do the needful." Talking about the cast, he says "Jahnvi, Rajkummar Rao, and Varun Sharma have done a fantastic job in Roohi. Jahnvi is working so hard. She wants to get better with each film. If Sridevi were here she would have been extremely proud of her daughter."
The story of Roohi is based on a witch who keeps her eye on the wedding house. When the groom falls asleep she takes the bride with her. Meanwhile, Rao and Varun kidnap Jahnvi, but they do not know that this kidnapping is going to change their lives because Jahnvi has the soul of Aafja. Amidst all these, there is a temper of comedy with horror. Roohi is directed by Hardik Mehta. Fans were waiting for this film for a long time and now finally the film has been released on Friday.
