New Delhi: The border standoff between India and China since May has not yet been resolved. Both the countries are looking at each other with suspicion, which has led to increased deployment of arms and soldiers on the border. Even after seven rounds of talks between India and China, the situation on the border has not been normal. Once again, India and China are going to come to the table to resolve the border dispute through dialogue.

According to a media report, the eighth round of India-China military and diplomatic level talks is likely to be held next week to ease the ongoing border tension in Ladakh. In view of winter and snowfall, both the armies have started increasing the deployment of soldiers on the 1,597 km long Line of Actual Control (LAC).

As senior officials, both sides are not disturbed to restore peace at the moment in a disputed place, but they have decided to keep the dialogue channels open at the military commander and diplomatic levels. The talks are also being considered important for not repeating any adverse situation at the disputed sites.
