To promote tourism in the state's interior and draw more visitors, the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has started a monsoon trekking program from Tambadi Surla-Mollem in South Goa.
In reference to this, GTDC Chairman Ganesh Gaonkar stated that the coastal state would give meaning to the concept of "Atithi Devo Bhava." Sonsogor Trek
