This Diwali two Big Budget movies Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God released. Despite being the festival the movie earned a low amount as compared to previous Diwali releases but as per current circumstances.

Akshay Kumar’s Diwali release Ram Setu seems to have benefited from the holidays around the release. The film collected around ₹8.50 crore on Thursday. This takes its three-day collection to around ₹35 crore. The film did not have a Friday release and instead released on a Tuesday
Ram Setu is directed by Abhishek Sharma and co-produced by his company Cape of Good Films along with Amazon Prime Video, Abundantia Entertainment, and Lyca Productions. The film has been in the making for quite a few years.
Thank God
Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh ‘s Thank God dropped by almost 30 percent on Thursday. The Indra Kumar fantasy comedy released on Tuesday, a day after Diwali, and clashed Thank God opened at ₹8.10 crore and dropped to ₹6 crore on Wednesday (day 2). It now stands at a three-day collection of ₹18 crore nett. Thank God dropped around 30 percent on day three as it collected around 4 crore nett, as per a report on Boxoffice report.
About the movie, Thank God is a T-Series Films & Maruti International production, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Sunir Kheterpal, Deepak Mukut, Anand Pandit and Markand Adhikari and co-produced by Yash Shah. The film is all set to release around Diwali on October 25 this year.
