Boycott Mama Earth Trending, As the company defends Richa Chadha’s Galwan Tweet

Richa Chadha is facing criticism because of her one controversial tweets. Various people called it insulting to the Indian Army. The actress was brutally trolled by netizens and now, filmmaker Ashok Pandit has filed a complaint against her at the Juhu police station.  Ashoke Pandit on Thursday filed a complaint against the actor in Juhu Police Station in Mumbai and urged for a First Information Report (FIR) to be registered against her.

Boycott Mama Earth is trending. As Mama Earth defended the statement of Richa Chadha. Mama Earth is a startup company based in Gurugram. It provides skin and health care products for babies and adults which are toxin-free and natural. One user mama earths comment and wrote, ‘Don’t know why brands don’t get it! You want to sell soaps and creams, sell soaps and creams. Don’t sell woke gyan! #BoycottMamaEarth is trending’. Another user wrote, ‘Mama Earth has deleted its tweet. I used to buy their products for my little nieces and from now onwards I won't buy any of @mamaearthindia products and ask everybody in my vicinity to boycott their products. Enough is enough.’

Richa Chadha earlier a tweeted, "Galwan says hi".Now the actress took to the social media to apologize. The actress wrote, "Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the 3 words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part,"

She further added, "My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It's in my blood. A whole family is affected when a son is martyred or even injured while saving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally know how it feels. It is an emotive issue for me."
