In Telangana, Haritha Haram festival is celebrated. The main aim is to increase the forest cover in Telangana by 33%, while the film has hit the right chord with celebs. Earlier in June, Prabhas, along with TRS MP Santosh Kumar, started the festival by planting saplings at his farmhouse in Hyderabad. After him, many Telugu film personalities also participated in this campaign.

According to media reports, now is the turn of Brahmanandam. Some pictures of the 'Dookudu' and 'Race Gurram' actor have come out. He was seen planting saplings outside his house. The great comedian accepted the Green India Challenge with an aim to inspire his fans to do so.

'Lvaru' and 'Major' actor Adibesh, 'Baahubali' and 'Duvvada Jagannadham' actors Subbaraj, Saina Nehwal, former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, 'Hit' and 'E Nagarnicki Amnady' actor Vishwak Sen, Anchor Harika, also took the challenge.
