Patna: Speaking in a meeting on Saturday (29 April 2023), RJD National Secretary Yaduvansh Yadav said that not a single Brahmin belongs to India. They are all foreigners. He said that his DNA test has been done and this thing has been proved in it. RJD leader Yadav, who was MLA from Bihar's Pipra, said, “We are the original residents of this country. Brahmins have come from outside. DNA test of Brahmins has been done. His DNA is of Eurasian origin. Is of Russian origin. All of them have come to India after fleeing from Russia."
Yaduvansh Yadav said, “It is through Brahmins that the work of dividing all of us and creating quarrels is done. All these work to create division among all of us. That's why we have to drive these people out of here just as they were driven out of there (Russia). The program in which Yaduvansh Yadav was speaking was of a party level function. It was organized by RJD of Nirmali Nagar Panchayat. In this function, former MLA Yaduvansh Yadav gave this controversial statement.
Yaduvansh Yadav is not the only RJD leader who has given controversial statements. Earlier, Education Minister in Bihar government, RJD leader Chandrashekhar Yadav had given a controversial statement regarding Ramcharitmanas. He had said that Ramcharitmanas is a book that spreads hatred. Addressing the students at the convocation of 'Nalanda Open University' in January this year, the RJD leader had said that Ramcharitmanas is a book that divides the society. This Ramcharitmanas prevents dalits and backward people from getting education. During his address, referring to a couplet of Ramcharitmanas “Adham caste me vidya paaye, bhayahu yatha ahi doodh pilaye”, he said that this is a book that spreads hatred in the society.
