Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh on Monday alleged that the protest by wrestlers is increasing like the Shaheen Bagh case and the BJP seems to be becoming the target of the protest. Braj Bhushan Sharan Singh asked why the protest at Jantar Mantar did not end despite the FIR being registered on the demand of the wrestlers? Along with this, he also alleged that this demonstration is being funded. Financial assistance is going to be provided to the protesters from behind the scenes.

Braj Bhushan has said that – Tukde-tukde gang, the forces which were active in Shaheen Bagh, were active in the farmer's movement, those who attack Prime Minister Modi from time to time, those who attack the party, all those forces are visible in the movement of wrestlers. Is coming I have been saying from the beginning that their target is not my resignation. This is their excuse. When FIR has been registered on their demand and the way they are engaged in inviting political parties, their target party is (BJP). Is it a players' movement? Not there. Delhi's Shaheen Bagh became a topic of discussion in 2019 amid anti-Citizenship (Amendment) Act protests. Protesters had been on the streets protesting against the citizenship law for a few months. Because of this, traffic has been diverted for a long time.
