Kandhamal (Odisha): In a distressing incident, a tourist bus traveling through Odisha's Kandhamal met with an accident, resulting in injuries to 32 individuals. The unfortunate mishap occurred on Wednesday, leaving the passengers wounded as the bus plunged into a gorge.

The bus, reportedly originating from West Bengal, encountered the accident within the jurisdiction of the Brahmnigaon police station. Promptly responding to the crisis, local authorities and the fire department initiated a swift rescue operation.

"Police teams from Brahmanigaon and Daringbadi, in collaboration with the fire brigade, swiftly arrived at the accident site to aid and rescue the injured passengers," stated officials familiar with the incident. The injured were onboard the tourist bus believed to have been on its way from West Bengal.

Currently, further details regarding the incident are anticipated as the authorities continue their efforts in managing the situation and providing necessary aid to the affected individuals.
