Amritsar: The incident which is currently being discussed from Amritsar golden temple in Punjab is a shocking incident. In fact, there has been an alleged lynching of a man who tried to be rude to the holy Guru Granth Sahib. DCP Parminder Singh has confirmed the death of the person in the case. Now, since this incident, the atmosphere in the Golden Temple has not been good. Talking about the case, police said that during Rehraas Sahib Paath, an unidentified person jumped from the railing inside the Golden Temple and allegedly tried to catch the sword placed in front of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

 

 

The crowd broke out between them and caught hold of the youth. The youth was then beaten to death by the mob. In this case, SGPC executive member Bhai Gurpreet Singh Randhawa said on social media, "I condemn the unfortunate incident in Sri Amritsar Sahib, the Punjab government should immediately investigate.'' On the other hand, Amritsar Police DCP Parminder Singh confirmed the incident and said, "The body of the deceased has been taken for postmortem. It seems he was alone at the time.''

The matter is under investigation. According to reports, the youth had suddenly jumped over the grill and approached Sahibji. In fact, only the gland is allowed to sit in the main building. The Darbar Sahib has the light of the holy Sri Guru Granth Sahib and bows its head. Punjab Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has also confirmed this. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjeet Singh Channi has said, "I condemn the unfortunate and heinous act of attempting to insult Shri Guru Granth Sahib during the recitation of Shri Rehras Sahib in the sanctum sanctorum of Shri Harimandir Sahib. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter.''
