Breaking News, IT raids in 40 spots in TN linked to Senthil Balaji

CHENNAI: The Income Tax department is currently conducting searches at the homes and offices of numerous government contractors who are thought to have connections to Minister Senthil Balaji in around 40 different sites throughout Tamil Nadu.

According to sources in the Income Tax department, there are currently raids taking place in Chennai, Karur, and other locations.

As they searched the Karur district home of Senthil Balaji's brother, Ashok, an IT officer and members of the DMK engaged in physical altercations.

Senthil Balaji , a senior DMK leader from Karur, also holds the Prohibition and Excise portfolio.

Senthil Balaji , was elected as a MLA on 23 May 2019 for fourth time. He serves as a member of the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly. He won the election held in the month of April 2021 and has been currently serving as Minister for Electricity, Prohibition & Excise.
