Telangana: In a span of eleven years, A woman married with eight senior citizens and gained the trust of her husbands and then disappeared with cash and jewellery.

A woman named Monica malik married to 66-year-old Jugal Kishore, a construction contractor from Kavi Nagar become the latest victim of serial marriage case. Kishore who lost his wife a year ago married Monica who was 25 years younger than him. The woman contacted him through matrimonial sites. But just after two months of marriage, one morning, Kishore woke up in a robbed house. Monica had taken all the jewellery and Rs 15 lakh in cash. He came to know about it through CCTV footage.

Kishore said that when he contacted the Delhi-based matrimonial agency, the owner threatened him and also asked for Rs 20 lakh more. After searching for Monica’s previous husband, Kishore found that he, too, had met the same fate as him. The fact is the same matrimonial agency had fixed Monica’s previous marriage. After intial investigation cops revealed that Monica had married eight senior citizens in the past 10 years and took away all the cash and jewellery after a few weeks of marriage. The fact to ponder over is that it was Khanna Vivah Kendra who fixed the marriage every time.

Kishore filed a case with the help of the city police against Monica under sections 420, 380,388,384 and 120B of the IPC.
