Ahmedabad: British PM Boris Johnson, who is in India on a two-day visit, on Thursday (April 21, 2022) visited several places including the Akshardham temple in Gujarat and met several industrialists, including politicians. During this time, he also took a photo of himself climbing on the JCB, which is going viral on social media.

Boris Johnson along with Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel also arrived at a programme of Gujarat Biotechnology University in Gandhinagar GIFT City. After this, PM Johnson visited the Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. During this time, he took information about its history and religious significance. He along with Gujarat CM Bhupender Patel visited the JCB factory at Halol GIDC in Panchmahals. During this time, seeing the bulldozer, they could not stop themselves and went straight to the driving seat and sat down. After a while they stood at the bulldozer's gate and waved, looking at the media. Its videos and pictures are going viral on social media.

Boris Johnson met industrialist Gautam Adani at his headquarters on a visit to Gujarat. Expressing happiness over Johnson's visit, Gautam Adani said, "I am honoured to host Boris Johnson, the first British Prime Minister to visit Gujarat at the Adani headquarters. I am happy to cooperate on the issue of climate and sustainability agenda. Our focus will be on renewable energy as well as green H2 and new energy. We will work with British companies to co-build in the field of defence and aerospace technologies.''
