Monday;July 25, 2016 : The benchmark BSE Sensex down on 67 points in early trade today.The 30-share barometer refused 66.73 points or 0.24 % to 27,736.51 with sectoral indices led by bank, metal and teck, trading in the negative zone.

NSE Nifty was trading lower by 24.00 points or 0.28 per cent at 8,517.20.

As per the brokers said, “apart from profit-booking in recent gainers, disappointing earnings by some companies and a mixed trend in other Asian markets, influenced trading sentiment”.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was down 0.28 % although Japan's Nikkei up 0.38 % in early trade today. Shanghai Composite rose 0.24 %.

The US Dow Jones Industrial Average ended 0.29 % higher on Friday.
