New Delhi: An attempt was made to attack Aftab Amin Poonawalla, accused in the Shraddha Walker murder case in Mehrauli, Delhi, the country's capital. Some people carrying swords attacked the police van in which the accused Aftab was being taken. The attackers had come with full preparation. To stop them, the policemen present in Aftab's van had to take out their guns, but the attackers kept chasing the police van for a long distance with swords, hammers, and sticks. At the same time, after the attack on Aftab, BSF personnel have been deployed outside FSL for security.
According to reports, the people who attacked Aftab identified themselves as members of the Hindu Sena. The police have detained two of these people, Kuldeep Thakur and Nigam Gurjar. There were 3-4 other people along with them, who are now said to be absconding. At the same time, after this attack, the Hindu army kept its side. Hindu Sena chief Vishnu Gupta has said that his organization believes in the Constitution. He has nothing to do with this incident.
