Srinagar: The body of a missing BSF jawan has been recovered by the Pakistan Rangers on the Pakistan border. BSF sub-inspector Paritosh Mandal went missing on September 28 while patrolling in Aik Nala area near the international border. Pakistan Rangers have recovered the body of Mandal on 1 October. It is being said that Paritosh Mondal had fallen in the Ike drain.

The BSF and SDRF undertook a joint operation to find Paritosh Mandal. In this campaign, Pak Rangers and local villagers helped BSF. Let you tell that drainage flows from India to Pakistan. Also, the water level of this drain rises during the rains. All the possibilities of finding Paritosh Mandal alive on Tuesday morning came to an end when the Pakistan Rangers found his body. Pak Rangers handed over his body to Indian security forces.

IG BSF, Jammu has expressed deep grief over the death of Paritosh Mandal, who sacrificed his life to save his two companions. The BSF has thanked the SDRF, Rural, Pak Rangers, who assisted the BSF in the campaign to find Mandal.
