The case of six MLAs who joined the Congress from the BSP has once again reached the High Court. This PIL filed by advocate Hemant Nahata will be heard in the bench of High Court Justice Sabina today. The petition challenged the change of party position in the assembly. At the same time, this petition has also demanded that the court should also decide in the case of disqualifying any MLA.

In the case of the merger of BSP MLA with Congress, the single bench of Justice Mahendra Goel in the High Court on Monday gave its decision by disposing of the petition of two petitioners on Monday. On the petition of BSP and BJP MLA Madan Dilawar, the High Court had heard in its decision that it was heard online that the speaker should hear the matter. The court had said that the speaker should hear other demands, including the cancellation of the merger of BSP and Dilawar MLAs and declaring the MLAs invalid. Along with this, the court had also ordered the assembly speaker, Dr. CP Joshi, to decide in this case after hearing in 3 months. The court quashed the Speaker's decision on July 22.

It is to be known that this entire case is related to the 6 MLAs who reached the Assembly after winning the symbol of BSP in the last assembly elections, who later joined the Congress. These MLAs had submitted an application to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. CP Joshi last year and sought approval for merger with the Congress. On this, the assembly speaker accepted his application and approved the merger. BSP and BJP MLA Madan Dilawar have also challenged this merger in the High Court, calling it wrong.
