The budget session of Parliament will be in two phases from 31 January to 3 April: According to the information received, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs has suggested to keep the budget session of Parliament in 2 phases from 31 January to 3 April. The first phase of the budget session will continue from January 31 to February 11 and the second phase from March 2 to April 3.

The President will address the meeting of both the Houses of Parliament: At the same time, a holiday of about 1 month is kept in the middle of the budget session. During this time, the Parliamentary Committees attached to various Ministries, Departments examine the budget allocation proposals. On the recommendation of the Union Cabinet, the President calls a meeting of both houses of Parliament.
