Raipur: Chhattisgarh Police has arrested Bunty-Babli from Delhi, who cheated Rs. 1 crore 22 lakh from a retired officer of Bhilai Steel Plant. The incident is of Bhilai in Durg district. Police said that Dular Singh, a retired officer of Bhilai Steel Plant, had informed them about the cheating that happened to him. Acting on which the criminal husband and wife were arrested.

Police said that in the year 2012, Manisha Sharma used to work in CS Innovation Insurance Broker Company. He was aware of several insurance plans, taking advantage of which he contacted Dular Singh, a resident of Bhilai, through phone in the year 2013. Then by telling the plans of all the companies, cheated them of one crore 22 lakh rupees from 2014 to 2021.

The same first got him to invest 8 lakh rupees. Then slowly and gradually started getting more investments in trust. When Dular Singh asked for the investor's papers, she started arguing. Dular Singh then became suspicious of him and directly complained to the police. After the complaint, the police took the information of the bank accounts disclosed by the complainant due to investigation, in which the transaction of one crore 22 lakh was detected. Thereafter, the police started searching for the fraud criminal Manisha Sharma. The police received the news that the criminal thug Manisha is present in Delhi and sitting in Delhi itself, through mobile phone, traps people in her net. After this, the Durg Police formed a team and sent it to Delhi. Then both the criminal husband and wife were arrested from Uttam Nagar in Delhi.
