BTS has been appointed as the honorary ambassador of the Busan World Expo 2039. The group including, RM (Kim Namjoon, the leader), Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Jimin (Park Jimin), V (Kim Taehyung), Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook), were appointed as the ambassadors at an appointment ceremony organised today, and it should not come as a surprise that the pictures for the same are trending all over on Twitter. 

It is a moment to be proud for all the members of the boyband and their fans, ARMY, as they have been appointed as ambassadors for one of the most prestigious events, a world fair. South Korea is also one of the countries participating. Whereas, other participants include Italy, Ukraine, and Saudi Arabia. While Busan is the city for the bid, Rome, Odessa and Riyadh are the cities nominated for the bid. BTS will be ambassadors to help promote the bid for Busan to hold the World Expo 2030.

The pictures and videos of the ceremony are going viral all over social media, where fans are praising their visuals in the fitted suits and hailing them for another one of their achievement. One particular video that is going viral is of BTS making cute hearts with their hands and posing for pictures.  BTS making their country proudhearts in their very own country is indeed special. 

The appointment brings great responsibility, BTS members will be holding a large-scale concert in October in an effort to get the bid in favour of Busan. It will also be broadcasted live on Youtube, with fans not having to pay for it. BTS is also intending to participate in various other activities for the same motive. It is an additional proud moment for Jungkook and Jimin as both were born in Busan itself.
