Every village in this state will be digital by 2022, government will extend broadband service

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to connect every village in Uttar Pradesh with broadband by the year 2022 under the National Broadband Mission. The Uttar Pradesh government has started its preparations to make the villages hi-tech. Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Rajendra Tiwari has ordered a detailed plan for the Gram Panchayat-wise. Rajendra Tiwari has also said in the instructions that the time of request letters for laying cables inside the ground and installing towers should be disposed of.

For this, the Investment Friend Portal should be used for this and offline request letters should also be fed on this portal. Instructions have been issued to set up a committee at the district level under the National Broadband Mission. A nodal officer will also be nominated for this. In order to prevent cable problems within the ground from road cutting, the concerned executive organization has been asked to get a map of the cable, which was put on the roadside.

National Broadband Mission has been started by the Government of India. Under this mission, the objective of ensuring availability of high speed broadband service across India, including rural and remote areas, has been set by the year 2022. 50 lakh km for this Optical fiber cable will be laid. The tower density will be increased from 0.42 to 1.0 per one thousand population. With this mission, the reach of government schemes in rural areas will be easy and effective and the quality of internet service will also be excellent.
