Shia religion guru Maulana Kalbe Jawad met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and objected to the arrest of innocents in demonstrations against the Citizenship Amendment Act. He submitted a memorandum to the CM demanding withdrawal of fake cases against the innocent and releasing them.

In his statement, Kalbe Jawad said that on December 19, the police should take action against those who committed violence, but the police is arresting the innocent. Fake cases are being filed against all those people. The police lathi-charged students and teachers by entering the madrasa in Muzaffarnagar. Here the students were arrested and taken to the police station. Some students are still in custody. He asked the Chief Minister not to disturb such innocent people. Along with this, based on the video footage, he has asked to take action against the culprits.

For your information, let us tell you that Maulana Kalbe Jawad met Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath at his official residence and condemned the violence and arrest of innocents in peaceful protests across the country on the issue of Citizenship Amendment Act and NRC. Demanded the release of the innocent from the Chief Minister and told the Chief Minister about the proceedings against the innocents of the police. He also gave a memorandum to the Chief Minister in this regard in which the Chief Minister has been asked to release the innocent and withdraw the fake cases.
