Dehradun: Discussions of cabinet expansion continued in the state of Uttarakhand, and in the BJP-ruled government of the neighboring state of Himachal, there was an expansion on Thursday. The great thing is that from the CM to the State BJP President in the state, the possibility of expansion of the cabinet has not been denied. But looking forward to becoming a minister, the wait for the senior MLA of the party is not being named.
There are four former cabinet ministers in the 57 MLA BJP, who are hoping to get a place in the Trivandra cabinet. Every time the possibility of cabinet expansion arises, and after some time it sits down. On the other hand, in the neighboring state of Himachal, the positions of three ministers were vacated from Jairam Thakur's cabinet. Those were filled on Thursday.
In Uttarakhand, two posts of minister have been vacant since the day the cabinet was formed, and one more post became vacant after the death of former finance minister Prakash Pant. Recently, CM and after him BJP state president Banshidhar Bhagat called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan, then the discussion about the expansion of the cabinet was raised. These discussions have not stopped yet. People inside and outside the party are expressing fears of cabinet expansion. However, when asked about this in relation to CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, he often avoids saying that everyone will come to know when the expansion will happen. But nothing has been decided yet about cabinet expansion.
