In the midst of this havoc of coronavirus, a cabinet has been formed in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has handed over his ministry to 5 ministers today. These five ministers were sworn in yesterday. Separate portfolios have been assigned to the 5 ministers involved in the formation of the cabinet in Madhya Pradesh.

Narottam Mishra has been entrusted with the Home Ministry as well as the Health Ministry, while Kamal Patel was made the Minister of Agriculture. Tulsi Silavat has been given the Water Resources Department, while Govind Singh Rajput has been given the responsibility of Food Processing Minister. Meena Singh has been made the tribal welfare minister. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also held a meeting with cabinet ministers after the division of departments.

Earlier, the cabinet of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been expanded after 29 days of forming the government in Madhya Pradesh. Governor Lalji Tandon administered the oath of office to Narottam Mishra, Kamal Patel, Meena Singh, Tulsiram Silavat and Govind Singh Rajput. Significantly, Tulsiram Silavat and Govind Singh Rajput are counted among the supporters of Scindia. It is believed that they have played a big role in forming the government. After administering the oath to these five ministers on Tuesday, they were given the responsibility of divisions. Dr. Narottam Mishra was assigned to Bhopal and Ujjain, Tulsi Silavat to Indore and Sagar, Kamal Patel to Jabalpur and Narmadapuram, Govind Singh Rajput to Chambal and Gwalior and Meena Singh to Rewa and Shahdol divisions.
