New Delhi: Canadian PM Justin Trudeau has commented on the farmers protest in the Indian capital Delhi. He has supported the movement saying that presently the situation in India is worrisome. Now the response of the Ministry of External Affairs has come to this. India has said that it is unfair to comment on the internal affairs of a democratic country.

The Ministry of External Affairs responded to Trudeau's statement saying, 'We have seen the statements made by Canadian leaders on the matter related to farmers in India. This is particularly inappropriate in relation to the internal affairs of a democratic country. It would also be best that political conversations should not be misrepresented for political purposes. ' Let us tell you that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said during an online program on the occasion of the 551st birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev that, 'There are reports coming from India about the demonstrations by farmers. The situation is worrying and we are all very concerned about our family and friends.

The Canadian PM further said that 'I know this is a reality for many of you. Let me remind you that Canada will always stand up to protect the rights to peaceful demonstrations. '
