NEW DELHI:  Allegedly involved in ball-tampering saga Former Australia skipper Steve Smith on Thursday broke down during an emotionally charged press Meet while answering harsh questions.

In the wake of the ball-tampering case due to which he has been banned for 12 months by his nation's cricket board CA. While a wave of sympathy has followed Smith who apologized for his wrongdoing, the British press continues to poke fun at the Australian team, not ready to simply stop commenting about the scandal that has stunned the cricket world from head to toe.

From 'Captain Cry Baby' in the Daily Mail's sports page to 'Bawl-tampering - Crying shame of Aussie cheats" of Daily Star, the headlines included the pics of crying Smith as TOI reported. Some were more commented thoughtfully, like Daily Express' 'Broken' and The Independent's 'Tear, lies & goodbyes'.

Following Smith's press conference on Friday, Australian coach Darren Lehmann too declared that the fourth Test against South Africa in Johannesburg will be his last in charge of the Australian team.   Prime Accused Warner, too, has apologized for his part and is likely to hold a press conference on Saturday.

Cricket Australia has also announced a review of team culture in the wake of the South Africa ball-tampering scandal and admired the Newzeland cricket team culture.
