Lucknow: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 18 runs on Tuesday. After the loss, Lucknow captain KL Rahul has stressed on the need for improvement in bowling and batting. He told that the team needed the same partnership in batting, as did Faf du Plessis. Lucknow has suffered its third defeat in seven matches. Rahul said that his bowlers allowed the front team to score 15-20 runs more despite a good start.

After the match, Rahul said, 'We started well. Taking two wickets in the beginning and then giving a low score in the powerplay. We could have stopped them for 15-20 runs less. We also needed partnerships with the bat, as Faf did with his other teammates. We couldn't do that. We have a good team and we have done well in the tournament so far. However, under pressure, we need to shine more, which we have to learn.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Lokesh Rahul said that although all our batsmen are in form, but the match cannot be won on the performance of any one batsman or bowler, for this everyone has to give their best together. Let us inform that RCB had scored 181 for 6 while batting first, which included Du Plessis's stormy 96, Maxwell's 23 and Shahbaz Ahmed's 22. At the same time, chasing this target, Lucknow could score only 163 runs. Krunal Pandya scored 42 runs for LSG. Josh Hazlewood took 4 wickets while bowling brilliantly for Bangalore.
