New Delhi: India's capital Delhi witnessed a violent agitation yesterday. In protest against the farmers' laws, the farmers' tractor parade lashed several areas including the Red Fort, ITO intersection.  It has been revealed that the barricades were removed, buses were smashed, flags of religious and farmers' organizations were hoisted from the ramparts of the Red Fort. A young man from Uttarakhand has lost his life while doing stunts on a tractor between the rally.

At ITO, a large group of farmers coming from Gazipur and Singhu borders attempted to move towards Luytens’ Delhi. However, police personnel were successful in stopping them from entering Lutyens’ Delhi. Later, they changed their plans and moved towards Red Fort, they broke the gates and entered its wells. The crowd also managed to climb atop the rampart of the Red Fort where they hoisted their organization’s flag, the statement said.

As per information received, Delhi police has registered a case in Indraprastha place. In a statement, Delhi police said, "An FIR has been lodged in the IP police station in connection with the violence that took place between the farmers' tractor rally in Ito yesterday. A case has also been registered against the farmer, including unidentified protestors, who died after the tractor was hit.''
