Woman went to meet husband's relatives in Pakistan return after 18 years

New Delhi: Hasina Begum, 65, who was imprisoned in Pakistan for nearly 18 years, has returned to India. Hasina had gone to Pakistan to meet her husband's relatives, but went there and lost her passport. After which he was put in jail. She has returned to Aurangabad in Maharashtra in the past.

After her return home, she said she was delighted to be returning to her country and home. He has spent many years suffering, but now he is coming back and relaxing. When Hasina Begum returned to Aurangabad, she was greeted by officers of Aurangabad police besides her family members.  In fact, Hasina Begum's family had lodged a complaint with the Aurangabad police station. After which the police filed the case and initiated action.

According to the information, Hasina Begum was married to Dilshad Ahmed, a Saharanpur resident in Uttar Pradesh. Some of his acquaintances live in Pakistan, where he visited Lahore. The case also went to the Pakistan court in which Hasina briefed the court on her situation. After a long struggle last week, Hasina Begum was released and handed over to Indian authorities. She has now met her family on the occasion of January 26. There have been a number of cases before where someone has been accidentally trapped in Pakistan and returned to India after a long time. In recent times, the issue of Gita had been in great discussion.
