During the Corona period, Puducherry is badly affected by the virus. Every day new infected patients are getting virus. Now the total number of infected patients in the state has crossed 1 thousand 272. Out of which 618 active cases have been found. Puducherry Health Department has provided this information. So far, 14 people have lost their lives here. Additionally, 480 positive patients have been cured. 

The whole world is still fighting against the corona spread from Wuhan in China. Talking about India, the number of corona infected has reached close to 7 lakh 95 thousand. The number of people killed by the virus has reached beyond 21 thousand. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi, the capital of the country, have the most corona patients in India.

According to data released by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 26,506 thousand have been infected in the last 24 hours, and 475 people have lost their lives with the virus. After which the total cases of corona patients in India have reached 7,93,802. Of which 2,76,685 are active cases, 4,95,513 people have recovered or returned home, or have been discharged from hospital. 21,604 people have died in the whole of India. Also, today 755 cases have been reported in Odisha, 115 in Rajasthan and 72 in Puducherry.
