There is a saying, “When the world is running down you make the best of what is still around.” In these times when the whole world is in the cliffhanger of what is going to happen next, the daily count of the Covid-19 cases is rising day by day. The second wave has harmed everyone especially the entertainment industry. Many celebrities and industry-related people have shown their concern and are hoping things get back on track soon.

Namratha Jauni, a well-known celebrity costume designer and stylist is amongst many other personalities related to the entertainment industry who is eyeing for things to back to how it was. She says that “Entertainment industry has suffered huge losses due covid as major revenue generation comes through movie theatres. The current restrictions don’t allow us to shoot, thus leaving us all with a ray of hope.”

She further adds, “I believe that this too shall pass soon. These are tough times, and we need to support one another in this situation. We all need to be positive and spread positivity among people. I think the thing we can do for coming out of this situation is if think as we and help each other.”

Namratha is considered being one of the preferred costume designers in the industry as she always believed in the quality of work and creativity with the change of time. As a stylist, she not only has to reflect the celeb’s personality in their outfits but also has to give a touch of fashion sense. Namratha has worked with celebrities like Irrfan Khan, Namratha has styled celebrities like Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu, R Madhavan, Swara Bhaskar, Payal Rohatgi, Soha Ali Khan, Amyra Dastur, Manav Kaul to name a few and has also worked as a costume designer and stylist for films like Tanu weds Manu, Paan Singh Tomar, Madaari, Dil Kabaddi, Dobaara, Kaash to name a few. She has done more than 15 TVC as a costume designer with Neil Nitin Mukesh and many other prominent brands like Asian Paints, Syska, Religares, and many more.
