In the police station, Mangolpuri area of Delhi, a person misbehaved on Monday night with CAT personnel. He, along with more than two dozen of his companions, pelted stones at the CAT ambulance. In this case, about half a dozen CATs staff have been hurt. During this time several ambulances were vandalized and their glass completely broken. All CAT personnel and ambulances have been deployed on corona duty in Delhi from other states.

According to eyewitnesses, this incident of assault with the CATs staff took place around 9 pm in Mangolpuri L block. An ambulance staff named Shehzad, along with his driver was going towards the Baraat Niwas in Mangolpuri L Block. Meanwhile, a person tired tried to forcibly snatch the tab from Shahzad. On protesting, a scuffle took place. The crook was caught with the help of the local public.

After getting the news, people beat him up. During this, the miscreant summoned more than two dozen of his companions, and he started throwing stones at the ambulance. The miscreants beat up the CAT personnel badly. When the police reached the spot, the accused fled. Many ambulances have been deployed in Delhi due to the increasing cases of coronavirus. Hundreds of CAT ambulances and CAT personnel from Uttar Pradesh and many other states are on duty here to give their service. The administration provided board and lodging facilities for CAT personnel.
