Later Jhunjhunwala said that he is sending Rs 2.30 lakh in an envelope in the hands of one of his employees. Of this, 80 thousand rupees are being given for the road project and the remaining 1.5 lakh rupees 54 lakhs to pass the pending bills. The CBI arrested Sagir Ahmed and Subhash Jhunjhunwala in this case and Udaipur, Agartala, Panvel, and Raids were conducted in their offices and residential complexes in Shillong.
