What is Muslim League Jammu Kashmir (Masrat Alam Group)?: Muslim League Masrat Alam Group is headed by Masrat Alam Bhat. This organization is also known for its anti-national and pro-Pakistan propaganda. This organization wants to liberate Jammu and Kashmir from India so that Jammu and Kashmir can merge with Pakistan and Islamic rule can be established in Jammu and Kashmir. Members of this organization are associated with separatist activities in Jammu and Kashmir. Its leaders and members are also involved in other activities including continuous stone pelting on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir to support terrorists. This organization raises funds from various sources including Pakistan and its proxy organizations. Apart from this, he is also disrespecting the constitutional authority and constitutional system of the country through his activities.

What does ban mean?: News says that under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), the central government can declare any organization as 'illegal' or 'terrorist'. This is called 'restriction' in common parlance. If an organization is declared 'unlawful' or 'terrorist' or is 'banned', its members may be criminalized and its assets may also be confiscated. According to the Home Ministry, at present 42 organizations in the country have been declared terrorist organizations, that is, they have also been banned. Which includes many Khalistani organizations, 42 organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, LTTE and Al Qaeda.
