New Delhi: As the number of patients infected with the Coronavirus increases in the country, the crisis of lack of oxygen is also deepening. The problem of oxygen shortage in covid hospitals is that the Rajasthan and Maharashtra governments have stopped supplying oxygen to other states. At the same time, the Gujarat government has issued orders to reserve 50 percent oxygen for itself.

After the decision of Maharashtra government, the news of lack of oxygen has come out from many other states including Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka. In many states, the price of cylinders with oxygen has increased due to the decrease. In fact, many states depend on companies located in other states for oxygen supply. In the midst of a crisis arising out of a ban on the supply of oxygen to other states, the Central Government has had to issue an order regarding this.

According to the media report, the Union Health Ministry has sent a letter to the states urging them not to stop the supply of oxygen. The central government had to issue this order following the Maharashtra government's decision to ban the supply of oxygen. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has requested Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray not to stop the supply of oxygen.
