New Delhi: Former Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker in the Facebook case. In the letter, he has attacked the Parliamentary Committee on Information Technology. In a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has questioned the current chairman of the committee. He has said that the current chairman is talking in the media to make an issue in the Facebook case, while he should talk on it in the board.

The Union Minister further said that not discussing it on the board is a violation of protocol and Parliament proceedings. It is noteworthy that Facebook controversy has deepened in India after an article published in an American newspaper. In this case, Congress veteran and Lok Sabha MP leader Shashi Tharoor, who headed the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology (IT) Affairs and Nishikant Dubey, a member of the committee, issued a notice of breach of privilege against each other.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has complained against not only Shashi Tharoor but also former Congress President Rahul Gandhi for breach of privilege. After this, the dispute has deepened. On the other hand, Congress leader and committee head Shashi Tharoor has sent a letter of breach of privilege to the Speaker of Lok Sabha. Shashi Tharoor says that BJP leader Nishikant Dubey had made inappropriate remarks on social media platforms regarding his decision to call a committee meeting to discuss the Facebook case.
