Mumbai: The political crisis in Rajasthan is not over yet and the news of a coup in Maharashtra is also gaining momentum. Union Minister and Republican Party of India (RPI) chief Ramdas Athawale on Monday urged Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar to join the BJP-led coalition NDA. Athawale has asked Pawar to join the National Democratic Alliance (NDA or NDA) and form a government in Maharashtra with his party and BJP.
In a video shared on Twitter, Athawale said that NCP's alliance with Congress and Shiv Sena is not beneficial for him. In the video, Athawale said, 'The NCP's decision to support the Shiv Sena will not benefit him. If Pawar saheb wants more funds from the central government for the development of the country and the development of Maharashtra, he should decide to come in support of PM Modi and consider joining the NDA.
Athawale further said, 'If this happens in Maharashtra then BJP, RPI and NCP can form coalition government'. Athawale, a minister in the Modi government, said, "Then the Maharashtra government will do well and the Center will also allocate more funds for the development of Maharashtra. It is my request to Sharad Pawar to take a decision on joining the NDA. Maharashtra currently has a coalition government of NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena.
