Itanagar: Nyokum Yulo Utsav, the main festival of the Nishi community, was organized at the Rono Maidan in Papum Pare District Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. Union Minister Ramdas Athawale was also present on the occasion as a guest. During this, he addressed the public meeting and said that all-round development of Arunachal Pradesh should be done. The Modi government of the Center is also paying full attention to this.

It is noteworthy that Neokum Yulo festival is a Krishi festival of Nishi tribe, where the community worshiped in its traditional way for the good harvest and prosperity, peace and peace of the society. Not only this, the Nishi community celebrates the festival with great enthusiasm in their traditional way.

Regarding the work being done for the development of the northeastern states and the projects started by the central government led by PM Narendra Modi, Ramdas has said that Arunachal Pradesh should be developed in all areas. People here should be given better education, better health facilities, employment to unemployed people. Along with this, he also stressed on setting up industries in the state. Along with this, the Union Minister also participated in the events of the festival.
