The inauguration date of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya (January 22) is rapidly approaching. Meanwhile, Champat Rai, the Secretary of the Ram Temple Trust, has appealed to the senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Lal Krishna Advani, and Murli Manohar Joshi, not to attend the inauguration ceremony. According to reports, Champat Rai stated in a press conference that due to health and age-related reasons, both Murli Manohar Joshi and Lal Krishna Advani won't be able to participate in the inauguration event. Given their advanced age, an appeal was made to them not to attend, which they have accepted.

Champat Rai, the Secretary of the Ram Temple Trust, addressed a press conference, saying, "Advani ji's presence is essential, but considering his age, we would say please do not come." After discussing Lal Krishna Advani, Champat Rai mentioned Murli Manohar Joshi, stating, "I have personally spoken to Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi. I kept telling him on the phone not to come, but he insisted on coming. I repeatedly requested Guruji not to come. Your age and the cold weather... you have recently undergone knee surgery."

Referring to a past incident involving Kalyan Singh, Champat Rai mentioned that during the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Ram Temple on August 5, Kalyan Singh insisted on coming. Rai further explained, "I told his son to keep saying yes to him about this matter, and on the last day, we would decide. On the last day, we told him that you should not come, and he agreed. This is how it is explained to the elders of the family."

It is worth noting that on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be present as the chief guest at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. In this regard, Champat Rai shared details in a press conference held on Monday (December 18). He mentioned that Prime Minister Modi will enter the Ram Janmabhoomi premises at exactly 11 AM. Subsequently, by 11:30 AM, he will arrive for the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla.

Champat Rai added, "From the very next day of the inauguration, i.e., January 23, permission will be granted for the public to have a darshan of Lord Shri Ram. On the occasion of the temple's inauguration, Prime Minister Modi, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor, and all the trustees will be present in the precincts of the Ram Temple. In addition to this, many other dignitaries will also witness the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple."

Champat Rai informed that arrangements are being made for the stay of 1000 people in dormitories at Karsevakpuram in Ayodhya. In addition, arrangements for 850 people to stay in tent compartments will be made. Dormitories and 600 rooms have been arranged at dharmashalas and other locations. It is expected that the number of rooms will increase to 1000.
