Bhopal: The government of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has changed the rules for admission in polytechnic colleges. Admission will be given according to the new rules in the education session 2022-23. Meaning that like last year, PPT exam will not be conducted. It is being said that the merit list will be prepared on the basis of class 10 results for admission to Diploma Engineering courses in polytechnic colleges. Admission will be given on the basis of a merit list. A copy of the order has been sent to all the concerned colleges.

Also, in the matter of technical education in Madhya Pradesh, students are more interested in taking admission in polytechnic college than in engineering college. The main reason for this is that students doing diploma courses from polytechnic colleges not only get jobs quickly but also get good salaries.

Students doing BE and BTech have to pay more fees than polytechnic. And after getting the degree, one has to wander for the job. Official information has been sent by the Madhya Pradesh government to the press, in which it is written that, in the academic session 2022-23, admission to diploma engineering courses conducted in polytechnic colleges of Madhya Pradesh will be done on the basis of merit of marks obtained in 10th class 10+2 examination. . Earlier, the Entrance Test (PPT) was conducted by the Professional Examination Board.
