Raipur: Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has left for Delhi to attend the Congress Working Committee meeting.  But he has made a big statement before leaving for Delhi. He said in Raipur that the National President of the Congress party will be announced by Saturday evening. The CWC meeting is being held in Delhi today.

The meeting was attended by CMs of Congress territories, CWC members and state party presidents. The meeting is chaired by UPA Chairwoman Sonia Gandhi. Reacting to the BJP's failure to complete its membership drive, Bhupesh Baghel said it was his internal matter. At the same time, he said, it is true that people are not liking the BJP and therefore not joining it.

CM Bhupesh Baghel said on the NGT's order to close 500 industries saying that I have not seen the report. It is only after seeing that I will be able to speak on this matter. The meeting of the Congress Working Committee has begun at the Congress headquarters. Rahul-Sonia Gandhi has reached the headquarters to attend the meeting. The main agenda of the meeting is to select the Congress President. According to sources, the interim Chairperson of the Congress is likely to be announced at the CWC meeting.
