Chhatarpur: Independence Day was celebrated on 15th August last year. In the meantime, something happened in Dhamchi village of the district which surprised everyone. In fact, a Dalit sarpanch was killed here only because he was a Dalit and hoisted the flag, not waiting for the general class secretary. According to information received, Sarpanch Hannu Basor has alleged that Sunil Tiwari, who was posted as a secretary in his panchayat, had gone through nagawara to hoist the flag on August 15.

It is also alleged that the secretary has kicked him, saying the word caste. A case has been registered against the Orda Road police station secretary on the complaint of the Dalit sarpanch in the case. On the other hand, the other side has also filed a complaint application against the Dalit Sarpanch in the police station. Police officials are now investigating all the allegations in the case.

Police say that it will be clear only after investigation as to what the entire case is. The Dalit sarpanch's clothes were also marked with clay marks in the case. On the other hand, Sarpanch and his wife Kattu Bai say that the Dabangg secretary has assaulted her husband, daughter-in-law, and herself. After the incident, the Dalit sarpanch, his wife, and some villagers reached Orchha Road police station and now people have demanded action against the accused secretary.
