Dantewada: Hostel superintendent Hemlata Nag has been suspended in the case of delivery of 11th girl in girls education complex Pateras in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Deputy Collector Preeti Durgam has told that the superintendent hid the matter of childbirth in the hostel during police interrogation. The superintendent also made an excuse for the ill-health. Since delivery, the students and family are said to be absent.

The matter is currently being investigated, on the basis of which further action will be taken. In fact, in a school hostel in Pateras, Dantewada, on Thursday, an 11th girl gave birth to a newborn. It is being told that the child was born dead. Describing the case, the deputy collector said, 'Newborn was born dead. The student said that she has been in a relationship with a boy from the village for the last two years. Hostel superintendent Hemlata Nag has been suspended.

According to Dainik Bhaskar's report, Hemlata was in the Kuakonda Kanya Ashram two years ago. There a student died due to drowning in the river. Even then Hemlata was suspended and an FIR was lodged against him. She was given the responsibility of 500 seater girls education complex Pateras as soon as restored.
