Raipur: The havoc of Corona, which has been steadily increasing for a long time, is causing trouble for everyone. This virus has taken many innocent lives so far. After this, today the entire human aspect has come to the verge of ruin. In Chhattisgarh, 1,817 new cases of Coronavirus were reported on Thursday, taking the number of infected people to 2,07,740. On Thursday, 245 people have been discharged from the hospital after infection-free and 20 Covid-infected people have lost their lives.

Officials of the state Health Ministry said 1,817 cases of infection have been reported. These included 155 cases from Raipur district, 82 from Durg, 125 from Rajnandgaon, 123 from Balod, 51 from Bemetra, 28 from Kabirdham, 66 from Dhamtari. 94 cases were reported from Balodabazar, 36 from Mahasamund, 53 from Gariaband, 136 from Bilaspur, 215 from Raigad, 123 from Korba, 169 from Janjgir-Champa, 36 from Mungeli. According to the information received, one from Gorela-Pendra-Marwahi, 36 from Surguja, 30 from Korea, 29 from Surajpur, 26 from Balrampur, 25 from Jashpur, 36 from Bastar, 31 from Kondagaon, 44 from Dantewada, 8 from Sukma, 34 from Kanker, 6 cases have been registered from Narayanpur.

So far 2,07,740 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh. In the state, 1,85,152 patients have become infection-free after treatment. There are 20,061 patients undergoing treatment in the state. 2,527 people infected with the virus have died in the state. The covid infection has been confirmed to be highest among 43,056 people in Raipur district of the state. 628 people infected with Covid in the district have lost their lives.
